Learn Spanish Online with a Real Teacher

This is the most common place people get stuck. Years of study, a decent vocabulary, an understanding of the subjunctive in theory — and a total inability to order lunch without rehearsing it first.

Speaking is a separate skill from knowing, and it is only built one way: by speaking, badly, with someone who corrects you kindly and immediately. That is what one-on-one lessons are for. Roughly 70% of the hour is talking practice, and within it the student talks about 70% of the time.

Our instructors teach Latin American Spanish. Christian González is Ecuadorian, a native speaker with nearly seven years teaching online, and he works with everyone from complete beginners to advanced — A1 through C1.

None of this means you cannot be understood elsewhere. Spanish speakers move between varieties constantly. It means you learn one real way people speak rather than a neutral textbook Spanish nobody actually uses.
