About this course

You speak Lebanese. This is where it starts sounding like you. You can hold a conversation. You get through a restaurant, a shop, a taxi without thinking twice. What's left is everything between getting by and speaking freely. This level is about that gap. Telling a story properly — with the pacing and the asides that make someone actually listen. Disagreeing with a reason, not just a word. Explaining what went wrong and what you'd do instead. Saying what you think and defending it when someone pushes back. You'll work on describing people and how you feel about them, talking about your life as it is now rather than as a set of facts, and handling the moments where a conversation turns — a problem, a disagreement, something that needs explaining. It ends with your own story. A final project, in Lebanese, told the way you'd tell it. Sixteen sessions, twice a week, live with Sally. The group is capped at ten, so you speak every class.

How group courses work

This is a live cohort course. It runs once at least 5 students have signed up (up to 10 seats). You reserve your place first; you only pay once the group is confirmed and a start date is set. Because a cohort is scheduled around confirmed students, fees are non-refundable from the point the group forms.
