About this course
The Lebanese you'd hear at a family table, not in a textbook. This isn't Modern Standard Arabic. It's the language people actually speak — in a kitchen in Beirut, at a wedding in Toronto, ordering coffee anywhere in between. It's for you if you're starting from nothing, or if you grew up hearing it and understand far more than you can say. In eight weeks you'll introduce yourself and greet people the way locals do, answer questions about your age, where you're from and where you live, talk about your family and your day, tell the time, order food, and say what you like and what you don't. You'll have the pronouns, the masculine and feminine forms, and the everyday verbs that hold it all together. Sixteen sessions, twice a week, live with Sally. The group is capped at ten, so you speak every class. The last session is a real conversation. No script, nothing prepared — just you, in Lebanese. The course runs once five people have signed up. How group courses work
This is a live cohort course. It runs once at least 5 students have signed up (up to 10 seats). You reserve your place first; you only pay once the group is confirmed and a start date is set. Because a cohort is scheduled around confirmed students, fees are non-refundable from the point the group forms.
