Spreads are structures for reflection, not fortune-telling layouts — a way to organise your thinking about a situation.
What a spread is
A spread is a set of positions, each framing one angle of a question — scaffolding that turns a handful of cards into a structured reflection.
One card
A single card as a focus or prompt for the day — the simplest reflection there is, and a good habit to start with.
Three cards
Instead of the predictive "past / present / future," read three cards as "the situation / what I can do / what to keep in mind." Same layout, reframed as reflection rather than forecast.
Holding a spread well
Every position is a prompt to reflect, and you stay in charge of what to do with it. This is reflection and self-inquiry — not therapy, healing, or emotional treatment, and not a substitute for professional support.
